Chefchaouen, Morocco

ohhhh i do love Chechaouen, the famous blue city of Morocco. i dont know why its blue but i'm very happy that it is :)

Jay Red, new travel buddy and dear friend.

this must be the birthplace of the tajine and the cool little spice things you find at traditional
restaurants. i have a love hate for tajine.. at the moment of writing this i'm starving at an internet cafe in casablanca.. tajine kinda sounds nice :)

this part of morocco is super different than the south. the desert has disappeared and has been replaced with lush mountains and colorful clothing. it reminds me a bit of central america for a variety of reasons. it was a good place to meet up with a few new friends and practice my spanish with a guy i met who is well-versed in virtually every latin language.

jump!!

maybe my favorite photograph. compliments of Ayse Naz Baykal.
